Boeing KC-46 take flight! A New Air Refueling Tanker

Posted in Aviation News

For the first time in decades the United States is about to have a new air refueling tanker!  The Air Force currently relies upon the KC-10 (based on the DC-10 and built in the 1980s) and the Mighty KC-135 (roughly based on the Boeing 707 and built in the 1950s).

However, a new tanker is about to take the skies.  The Boeing KC-46A Pegasus is under flight test.  Below is a website which showcases the aircraft.

New aircraft don’t come along very often, this one will definitely take your mind to flight!
