For the first time in decades the United States is about to have a new air refueling tanker! The Air Force currently relies upon the KC-10 (based on the DC-10 and built in the 1980s) and the Mighty KC-135 (roughly based on the Boeing 707 and built in the 1950s).
However, a new tanker is about to take the skies. The Boeing KC-46A Pegasus is under flight test. Below is a website which showcases the aircraft.
